Ellen M. Mueller

Ellen Mueller is an Associate Attorney at Hutchins & Associates LLC. Prior to joining the firm, Ellen was the Trusts and Estates Associate at a Denver Area law firm, the Probate and Estate Planning Clerk at a Denver Metro Area law firm, and an Intern at the Denver Probate Court.

Ellen’s practice focuses on probate and trust administration, estate planning, and trust and estate litigation. Ellen assists clients through every stage of the probate process and aims to relieve clients of the legal considerations and obstacles that precede and follow the death of a loved one. Ellen approaches estate planning with an eye toward comprehensive protection of her clients and their desired outcomes, while also leaving room for flexibility in the face of unexpected change and life’s uncertainties.
Ellen has also represented fiduciaries, estates, and beneficiaries in probate and trust litigation, often helping clients reach creative settlement resolutions outside of litigation. She has handled disputed probate and trust issues, including beneficiary disputes, will contests, will and trust construction and modification, and fiduciary (personal representative, guardian, and trustee) liability.
